Os candidatos ao Programa Self-Employed - Trabalhadores Autônomos, devem ter experiência, intenção e capacidade de fazer uma "contribuição significativa" para a vida cultural ou esportiva do Canadá.

Os candidatos interessados devem atender aos requisitos de elegibilidade e obter, no mínimo, uma nota de aprovação nos critérios de seleção do programa para serem considerados para imigração como trabalhadores autônomos.

Não há exigência de patrimônio líquido mínimo regulamentado para o Programa de Trabalhadores Autônomos. No entanto, os candidatos autônomos devem demonstrar que possuem fundos suficientes para se estabelecerem no Canadá junto com seus dependentes e financiar o trabalho no qual sua seleção se baseia.

Requisitos de elegibilidade para o programa de trabalhadores autônomos

Um cidadão estrangeiro deve primeiro atender à definição de trabalhador autônomo do Governo do Canadá para ser considerado elegível para avaliação.

Um trabalhador autônomo é definido como alguém com experiência relevante como autônomo em uma atividade cultural ou atlética.

A experiência relevante consiste em pelo menos dois anos de experiência como autônomo ou participando de atividades culturais ou atléticas de nível mundial, conforme definido pela Imigração, Refugiados e Cidadania do Canadá (IRCC).

As inscrições de candidatos interessados são avaliadas em relação à avaliação de pontos para imigração empresarial autônoma para o Canadá. A nota mínima para o programa de trabalhadores autônomos é de 35 pontos em 100.

Factor 1: Experiencia

Applicant must have done this after 17 years of age and with a valid study permit. Note: There’s no need to have obtained a degree or diploma for these two years of study to earn these points.	5
Relatives in Canada Applicant or the accompanying spouse or common-law partner has a relative (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, sibling, child of a grandparent, aunt or uncle, or grandchild of a parent, niece or nephew) who is residing in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.	5
